Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. The command terminated with "Connection closed by foreign host" immediately. It does not timeout or anything. I verified that the the host is listening on the port and since telnet output shows "Connected to spark." — this also means that the connection is successful.

29/03/2006 · Re: telnet : Connection closed by foreign host. Grandiere, I have seen this scenario caused by a couple different issues. /, /tmp, or /var/tmp are full. maximum number of sessions is maxed out. nproc is maxed out. a runaway process is usung up too many system resources.

Connection closed by foreign host. Cannot connect to routers or switches. I have VIRL running on a bare metal install. I can start a simulation but cannot connect to the console of any of the guests or routers. I can connect to the ~mgmt~lxc but cannot connect to the routers or switches. I am using the default settings for the Cisco Terminal.
